April 19th -"Funding Options and Financial Literacy for Small Business" Workshop held in Ft. Wayne |

Where is the money? This two-hour workshop, which is free of charge, will introduce funding sources including commercial lending, SBA, state, regional, and local programs. This workshop is intended for individuals starting a business as well as owners of existing businesses who are investigating revenue options. Participants will learn strategies to consider in the lending process and the importance of understanding basic financial terminology and concepts. This workshop will be presented at the NEISBDC headquarters in Fort Wayne on January 11 and April 19, and at the Trine University Technology Center in Angola on March 9. Noble County Idol auditions scheduled |

United Way of Noble County, in partnership with WAWK - The Hawk Radio, will be hosting its very own version of the popular TV show American Idol, titled "Noble County Idol," to raise money for United Way's partner agencies.
Auditions will be from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the following days:
. Monday, March 29, Albion Library (downstairs)
. Wednesday, March 31, West Noble High School
. Wednesday, April 7, at the Kendallville Library
Noble County residents ages 10 and above who like to sing are encouraged to schedule their audition as soon as possible, as space is limited.
Finalists from the above auditions will be announced on WAWK - The Hawk Radio and notified by mail or phone on April 12.

"Turning Small Business into Big Business" |

The 23rd annual Greater Fort Wayne Business Expo, with a theme "Turning Small Business into Big Business," is set for Tuesday, May 25, at the Grand Wayne Convention Center.
The event, formerly the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, is sponsored for the third year in a row by the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly. It is the largest one-day business show in northeast Indiana and is open to businesses throughout the greater Fort Wayne area. A luncheon with a prominent keynote speaker is planned.
