It has been said time and time again that Noble County is rich in resources, assets, and talent. Many of the organizations in our communities value the need to communicate and collaborate in order to efficiently utilize resources, promote assets, and retain talent.
In the last quarter of 2018, members of the Noble County Plan Commission and Noble County Commissioners adopted Noble Tomorrow, a Comprehensive Plan for the promotion of public health, safety, morals, and general welfare of the community. This plan includes elements that relate to the future growth and development of Noble County and complies with Indiana Code 36-7-4-508.
Noble Tomorrow is a 75-page plan designed to guide officials, leaders, and the community at large as they tackle issues, situations, and opportunities. The first plan for Noble County was adopted in 1968, and updated in 1986 and 2007. Noble Tomorrow was developed by a steering committee made up of Noble County citizens and stakeholders who began the process in the spring of 2017. The result is based on the input of the public, gathered through surveys, workshops, and interest group meetings.
